ELDORADO, Ill. — Authorities in Saline County are reportedly investigating a murder-suicide at a home in Eldorado.

According to officials, a relative found the two people dead Tuesday in separate rooms of the home and called law enforcement.

The individuals were reportedly a male and a female, but their relation is unclear at this time.

The cause of their deaths and their identities have not yet been released, but authorizes are saying at this time that there were no weapons or blood discovered at the scene.

Illinois State Police is assisting with the investigation being conducted by the Saline County Coroner’s Office and the Eldorado Police Department.
