MARION, Ill. — A Southern Illinois-based human services organization, Arrowleaf, has purchased the remaining available tickets for the Thrillville Thrillbillies baseball game in Marion on Wednesday, June 28th. The group announced Monday that they will give the tickets to the public at no cost.

Arrowleaf CEO Sherrie Crabb said the organization was already sponsoring the June 28th game and providing free tickets to their employees and clients. Crabb also says Arrowleaf will be making a big announcement Wednesday night

Wednesday’s game will also be a special theme night. “Keeping It Reel Night” combines two of Southern Illinois’ favorite pastimes: baseball and fishing.

Fishing-themed entertainment will occur throughout the night, and the first 500 fans through the gate will receive a fishing bobber courtesy of Arrowleaf.

Crabb says the Thrillbillies are making it easy for anyone who wants free tickets. All fans have to do is visit the Stadium Box Office and tell them they want tickets for Wednesday.

The Stadium Box Office is open from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm on Monday and Tuesday, with extended hours on Game Day.

The Thrillbillies take on the Cape Catfish on Tuesday, June 28th. Gates open at 5:45 pm, with the first pitch at 6:45.
