NASON, Ill. — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a 25-year-old suspect in a shooting incident Friday night in Bonnie.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Lief “Allistar” Booker is being sought in connection with shooting 55-year-old Jerry C. Collins with bird shot. Collins suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident reportedly took place at a residence in the 300 block of South Ninth Street in Bonnie, where the two reportedly lived together.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing and the search for Booker is active.
