MARION – The Romans Warrior Foundation’s The Global War on Terrorism Wall of Remembrance is heading to southern Illinois.
The Wall represents the Honor, Strength, Courage, Commitment, Loyalty, and Family Values of America and the price that is paid for our freedom.
The names on this wall come from the Global War on Terror. They are the victims and the heroes that lost their lives on 9/11 and the military that were called to duty and paid the ultimate price.
Before The Wall comes to Marion, it will be staged at Roadhouse Harley Davidson in Mt. Vernon at 9:30 Friday morning and leave from there at 1 p.m. It will arrive at the Lance Cpl. J. Kyle Price Memorial in Woodlawn at 1:30 p.m. and depart from there on Illinois 148 at 1:45 p.m. It will arrive at Oasis Motorsports in Marion at 2:45 p.m. There may be 15 minutes give or take from start to arrival, so times will vary.
