MCLEANSBORO – McLeansboro residents are being asked to not remove blue flags that are being placed near their water meters.
According to a statement from McLeansboro Mayor Chad May on the city’s Facebook page, the city is required to complete a service line survey for every customer.
Grant money has been secured to pay for the costs of this survey. The blue flags will help city engineers locate your service meter saving them time and unnecessary grant money expenses.
Starting Monday, you will begin to see surveyors from Klingner and Associates conducting the survey. The survey will be ongoing for the next two months.
