MT. VERNON, IL — The 2nd Annual WMIX- Tony Wielt State Farm Teddy Bear Toss is set to bring holiday cheer to local children in Jefferson County. Scheduled for Saturday during halftime of the Mt. Vernon Rams basketball game against Alton at Chagnon Gym the event invites fans to throw new, un-used teddy bears or stuffed animals onto the court. These donations will be distributed to the more than 800 kids supported by Toys for Kids.
