MT. VERNON – Deaconess Illinois Crossroads invites the public to attend its Free Community Health Fair Tuesday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the Rolland Lewis Building in Mount Vernon.

With the largest number of participating vendors to date, this event promises to be an exceptional opportunity for local residents to access health services, wellness resources and community support — all under one roof.

Attendees can take advantage of a wide range of free health screenings, including glucose, lipid, thyroid laboratory draws, blood pressure screenings and more. Health professionals will be on-site offering educational materials and guidance on managing chronic conditions and improving overall wellness.

“This year’s fair is bigger than ever, and that means even more resources for our community,” said Melissa Sons, MS, BSN, ACM, Regional Director of Case Management. “We’re proud to bring together so many organizations with a shared commitment to community health. Whether you’re coming for screenings, information or to connect with support services, we want every person who walks through the doors to leave feeling empowered and cared for.”
In addition to health screenings, the fair will include information on preventive care, legal planning, mental health services, wellness programs and local initiatives aimed at improving community well-being. Representatives from Deaconess Illinois Crossroads hospital, clinics and specialty care services will be present, along with a variety of local partners.

This free, family-friendly event is open to everyone — no registration required. Visitors are encouraged to bring family and friends and take advantage of the many health and wellness opportunities available.
