Illinois flood victims trying to rebuild will get a tax credit under a new law signed by Governor Bruce Rauner.
The credit will be available to residents in 18 Illinois counties that suffered severe flood damage this year says Governor Rauner.

The bill was sponsored by Senator Dan McConchie of Hawthorn Woods.

Those seeking the credit will need to get an eligibility certificate from their local township assessor.
