A Saturday night traffic stop by Salem police has landed a 46-year-old man in the Marion County Jail on drug charges and outstanding warrants.
James Simpson, of Salem, was reportedly stopped for having only one working headlight, He was subsequently arrested on charges of possessing between 15 and 100 grams of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while license revoked or suspended, as well as on outstanding warrants for possession of meth and driving while license suspended.
Combined bail on the warrants is $12,500.
