CLAY COUNTY — A 35-year-old Flora man is in the Clay County Jail accused of forcibly entering a home west of Flora over the weekend and getting into a fight with two individuals in the residence.

According to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office, around 7:30 a.m. Sunday, deputies received a report of an ongoing fight at a residence west of Flora. Upon the deputy’s arrival, the Rodney A. Washington was located inside the residence and taken into custody.

Bail for Washington has been set at $150,000 and he’s charged with Class X felony home invasion.
