EDGEWOOD — Farmers in the Edgewood area will have to take their grain a little farther now that ADM has closed its Edgewood elevator.

According to ADM, they recently decided to close its grain storage facility in Edgewood, after determining they would be able to better serve their customers in the area through their facility in Farina, which is just eight miles away.

Farmers in the Edgewood area began to notice work to close the elevator in recent weeks.

ADM says it has added substantial uploading and storage capacity to the Farina facility within the last year. If customers have questions, they can contact us at 618-245-3333.
