WOODLAWN — IDOT says starting today weather permitting, a lane reduction will begin on eastbound I-64 two miles west of the Woodlawn exit so bridge work may begin.

You should reduce speed and be alert to equipment and workers. IDOT asks that you use extreme caution when traveling through the area.

It is also suggested to take an alternate route to avoid delays. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the work zone as quickly as possible.
