MT. VERNON — On Tuesday, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported the following arrests to WMIX / WDML News:

41-year-old Shawn Flatt of Mt. Vernon was arrested Monday for domestic battery.

60-year-old Michael Garnier of New Orleans, LA was arrested Monday for felon in possession of a firearm.
