CENTRALIA — Centralia Police are looking for a 23-year-old Centralia man in connection with an early Thursday morning stabbing that sent an Odin man to a St. Louis area hospital for treatment.
According to reports, the victim was stabbed at an apartment on East 13th Street by his girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend, Jarvis H. Brown. Brown had left the scene before police arrived. Brown is currently awaiting a September 20th sentencing in Marion County court for burglary.
According to Centralia police, the 23-year-old victim reported the stabbing while seeking treatment at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Centralia for a stab wound to his side, a broken rib and a punctured lung. He was ultimately airlifted to a St. Louis area hospital.
Brown is currently awaiting a September 20 sentencing in Marion County court for burglary.
