CENTRALIA — A 42-year-old Centralia City Councilman was reportedly cited Saturday night for reckless driving after two citizens filed complaints with the Centralia Police Department about his driving.

According to Centralia Police Lieutenant Greg Dodson, Andre Marshall was not arrested but was issued a traffic citation and given a notice to appear in court.

Dodson says no officer witnessed the alleged incident but Marshall was issued the citation due to a complaint saying he disobeyed a stop sign and then almost struck the complaint’s vehicle head-on.

A second witness later came forward with a similar complaint.

Dodson says the incident was also recorded on Marion County Housing Authority video.
