CARMI — A Carmi man was arrested Tuesday morning after Carmi Police and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force executed a search warrants at 225 Stevan Street, Apt. E in Carmi in reference to a lengthy investigation into the distribution of child pornography.

Carmi Police Chief Jason Carter says electronics were seized from 28-year-old Andrew Patrick Horne’s residence and a forensic analysis will be done.

Horne is charged with distribution of child pornography and failure to register as a sex offender. He is lodged in the White County Jail. According to the police report, bond was not set.
