CENTRALIA — A Centralia police investigation into a reported vehicle burglary led to the arrest of a 48-year-old woman.
According to CPD, Nicol Carter was a suspect in the burglary of a Marion County Housing Authority vehicle. Reports say the truck was parked in front of the housing authority office on East Howard in Centralia, and that Carter was identified as a person seen entering the vehicle on video surveillance.
Officers went to Carter’s home to question her about the vehicle burglary and reportedly found methamphetamine and some of the items stolen from the truck.
She was taken into custody on charges of burglary, criminal damage to state property and possession of meth. She was taken to the Marion County Jail.
