MT. VERNON — A Jefferson County woman was arrested Thursday after a three-month long investigation into an internal theft at a Mt. Vernon business.
MVPD started an investigation in late October into an internal theft at the Huck’s Travel Center in Mt. Vernon.
39-year-old Kelly Strothmann was picked up Thursday by Jefferson County Sheriff’s deputies after receiving a tip that she was at the Rolling Meadows Trailer Park in the county.
She was taken into custody accused of stealing at least $10,000, but not more than $100,000 from the business. She is currently being held at the Jefferson County Justice Center.
