Mary Ann (Musgrave) Williams, 85, of Wayne City, IL passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Fairfield Memorial Hospital in Fairfield, IL.
Mary was born in Aden, IL on July 15, 1937 the daughter of Marshall and Florene (McCormick) Musgrave. On March 16, 1958 she married Chester Edwin “Ed” Cooper Sr. who preceded her in death. She later married Wayne Williams of the Wayne City area, who preceded her in death.
Mary worked for many years in Wayne City at the garment factory and the Williamson picture frame factory. Mary was a loving mother and aunt, and will be missed by her family. She was very brave through many tragic events in her life and now rests free in the love of her Savior Jesus Christ.
Mary is survived by her sister Joan Braddock of Wayne City, 2 nephews: Dale (Brenda) Braddock of Wayne City and Gale Braddock of Mt. Vernon, IL; a niece Julie (Scott) Dixon of Mt. Vernon, a step-son Mike Williams of Pensacola, FL; and a step-granddaughter Renee (Jim) Jackson of Orange Beach, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents Marshall & Florene Musgrave, her first husband Chester Edwin “Ed” Cooper Sr., her second husband Wayne Williams, a daughter Tracy Lynn Cooper, and a son Chester Edwin “Eddie” Cooper Jr.
Graveside funeral services for Mary Ann (Musgrave) Williams will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, September 27, 2022 at Thomason Cemetery in Wayne City, IL with Rev. Richard McCormick officiating. The services will be a combined graveside service for both Mary and her son, Eddie Cooper. Those attending are asked to meet directly at the cemetery.
