FAYETTE COUNTY — A 34-year-old Shobonier man was charged Thursday in Fayette County Court with multiple felony drug charges.

Vandalia police arrested Zachary E. Hawk this week and he was formally charged Thursday with Class X felonies for unlawful delivery of between 15 and 100 grams of methamphetamine, and possession of between 100 and 400 grams of meth. Hawk was also charged with misdemeanors for resisting a peace officer, possessing drug paraphernalia and obstructing a peace officer.

He was free on $1,500 cash bail at the time of this arrest. Hawk was arrested last month on charges of Class 3 felony possession of meth, Class 4 felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

His bond in the latest case was set Thursday at $75,000 or 10 percent cash. Hawk is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday on both cases.
