SALEM, IL — A Salem man was arrested and now faces charges including criminal trespass after being found in a neighbor’s shower. 28-year-old Guy Collins had visited the home earlier and was given a glass of water, but his request to enter the house was denied. When the homeowner returned, Collins was discovered using the shower and washing his laundry. Police were called and removed Collins, who was not initially charged as the homeowner declined to press charges. However, she later decided to proceed, and Collins was taken into custody at his home next door. He was locked up behind bars in the Marion County Jail as formal charges are being considered. Meanwhile, he will have to share a shower there with others.
