Jefferson County Fire Departmemts will be hosting a Firefighter Benefit for Woodlawn Fire Chief Bill Shega.

Chief Shega has served Woodlawn Fire District for over 30 years, 12 of those years as Chief. Sadly Chief Shega has been diagnosed with cancer again. Funds raised will assist with medical and other expenses.

Chicken and Fish Dinner will be held at the Mt Vernon Elks on February 9th from 11 to 2. Adults $15.00, kids $8.00 and under 5 free. Raffle tickets for a Pit Boss Sportman Pellet Grill are also available for $5.00 each or 5 for $20.00. The Pit Boss Grill was donated by Mt. Vernon Rural King, much appreciated.

Tickets may be purchased from members of the Woodlawn Fire District and Jefferson Fire Protection District.
