Robert Lee “Bob” Moore, age 87 of Salem, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital in Clayton, MO.

Bob was born on October 11, 1937 in Salem the son of Darrell and Beryl (Crane) Moore. He married Dorothy Romelle Minton on March 1, 1957 in Odin, and she preceded him in death in 2008.

He is survived by his sister, Paula Qualls and husband Larry of Salem; nieces, Kristin Miller and husband Douglas of Salem, Pamela Domkuski and husband Frank of Dalzell, Sharon Beasley and husband Randall of Salem, and Jeanine Russell and husband Rob of Varna; great-nieces and great-nephews, Lorenzo Qualls of Highland, Andrew Qualls of Highland, Kimberly Rakers and husband Chad of Carlyle, Dylan Miller of Salem, Kayla Miller of Ballwin, MO, and several other great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; son, Allen Moore; sister, Jean Ann Phipps and husband Drexel; and nephew, Brent Qualls. Bob graduated from SCHS in 1955 and went on to own and operate Bob L. Moore Trucking for many years. He attended Freedom Church in Salem and was a former member and board member of the Odin Assembly of God.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Crouse Funeral Home in Salem with Don Wallace officitating. There will be a time to visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Private burial will take place at Parardise Cemetery. Online condolences can be left at www.CrouseFH.com.
