Cody Jinks was transported to the hospital on June 22 after cutting short his performance in Papillion, Neb. Jinks was on stage for about an hour before he told the crowd he was dizzy. He proceeded to play four more songs while seated before apologizing to the audience. In a statement posted to his official Facebook page, the singer shared an update on his health and touring schedule. “Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers,” Jinks wrote. “I suffered a pretty severe onset of vertigo on stage last night in Omaha. My blood pressure spiked and I was taken to the hospital to get checked out. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to play Columbia Missouri tonight, which breaks my heart,” he continued. “Everyone knows that’s one of my favorite places to play. On the bright side, I have a couple of weeks to get right. Playing music is my life and I’ll be back out sooner than later. Thanks again for the well wishes.”
